My faith is the foundation of my life—I believe Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and I try to live that out daily.
About 8 years ago, my faith led me to become a foster dad. Over that time, I’ve had 28 kids come through my home. With 12 of them, I built relationships that lasted a year or more—some up to three years. Many of them eventually returned to their families, which brought a lot of joy but also a lot of grief. It shaped me in a big way.
Two years ago, I adopted three amazing girls who mean everything to me. Because of that, I’m looking for a woman who has a big heart and can love them as her own, just like I do.
I believe in growth, accountability, and grace. I’ve made mistakes in my past, but I’ve learned from them and continue to work on becoming a better man. I value honesty, commitment, and someone who is willing to work through challenges together rather than walk away when things get hard.
On the lighter side, I’m a bit of a nerd—I enjoy tabletop war games, painting miniatures, and I’m into books like Lord of the Rings and The Way of Kings. Movies? Definitely Star Wars and Marvel.
I like to stay active too. I used to play volleyball and practiced karate (earned my black belt), and I’d love to get back into both someday.
Quality time is a big love language for me—I really value doing life together, whether that’s something simple or an adventure. I enjoy cooking, trying new foods (I can handle some serious spice), and I’m pretty good about doing my share around the house.
I also enjoy a mix of things—getting dressed up and going out, but also being down-to-earth enough to go camping and keep life simple.
I’ve done some traveling (Kuala Lumpur was a highlight), and I’m always open to new experiences.
