I'm a retired Army veteran and a widower who has been blessed with a life full of unique experiences that have shaped my faith, character, and appreciation for the simple things in life.<br /> <br /> After many years maintaining military heavy equipment, I now enjoy a quieter life filled with woodworking, writing, cooking, and spending time outdoors. I write for a publishing agency involved in country music, and I also enjoy writing blues and country songs inspired by faith, life, and hope. I've even written songs about Elvis Presley. My time in combat zones strengthened my belief in God and taught me to cherish every moment and every meaningful relationship.<br /> <br /> When I'm not writing or creating something in my workshop, you'll likely find me working in my yard, swimming, watching basketball, or preparing a home-cooked meal.
