I will be missing you until I meet you. Even now at the age of 57, I still believe in love, a meaningful, nurturing, passionate, patient and forgiving love that feels like home. For more than 33 years, I have worked as a lawyer and advocate here in the US, my native country, where I have promoted the rights and capabilities of people with disabilities, and most recently I do international development work, particularly in Southeast Asia, promoting the educational needs of young people who are blind. I myself have been totally blind all my life, but I’ve built a very successful, independent and full life for myself, though it is missing the special lady I hope to share it with. In my personal time, I love music, composing, writing lyrics, and arranging professional-level songs in many genres. While I do not sing, and you would not want to hear me at karaoke ;) from the age of five, I took intense classical piano training, but now I just involve music throughout my life to keep me centered, and it gives me joy to share my music with others. While I was married and have been divorced more than 21 years ago with no children, and I’ve had a few long term relationships that have been very special to me, I still have faith that you’re out there, and I’m looking forward to meeting you and to see what might be in store for the two of us.
