I joined Christian Filipina dating site in February 2023, and I met my husband in April. After 3 months, he flew to the Philippines to meet me. I had been praying for years, asking God to prepare me—not just for a relationship, but to become the right person for the one He had chosen for me. There were moments when I felt lonely, moments when I questioned if love would ever come my way again. But deep in my heart, I held on to God’s promise that His plans are always good.
One day, I received a simple message. It wasn’t fancy or impressive—just a sincere greeting and a short note about faith. What caught my attention was how he spoke about his relationship with God. It felt genuine. So I replied.
Our conversations started slowly. We talked about our favorite Bible verses, our church experiences, and how God had worked in our lives. There was peace in our conversations—no pressure, no pretending. Just honesty, laughter, and shared faith.
As days turned into weeks, we began to pray for each other. Even before we met in person, we were already building something strong—our foundation in Christ. We both agreed that if this was from God, He would guide us every step of the way.
When we finally met, it felt like meeting someone I had already known for a long time. There was no fear, only peace. And that’s when I truly understood what it means when they say, “When it’s from God, it brings peace, not confusion.”
Today, we are still growing together—individually and as a couple—always putting God at the center of our relationship. We’ve learned that love is not just about feelings, but about commitment, patience, and faith.
To everyone still waiting: don’t rush. Trust God’s timing. He knows your heart, your desires, and your future. The right person will come—not just to love you, but to walk with you closer to God.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4
