Jessi contacted me in March, and on March 19, we had our first video chat. I applied for a visa for Jessi and her three children, and they came to America on September 17, 2024. We were married on October 12, 2024. Today is January 11, and I still look forward to coming home to my wonderful wife. We are almost done with our change of status to the visa. Christian Filipina was a great choice. Our love story began on the Christian Filipina app, where we met on December 5, 2023. I honestly still can’t believe how quickly everything happened—at the time, I was already 57. Yet, it all unfolded here on Christian Filipina, a place filled with sincere, godly people, which is what drew me to it most. On December 20, 2023, he proposed to me. When he returned to Texas to process my visa, he realized he didn’t want to be alone and came back to the Philippines to stay with me during the process. He returned to the Philippines in December 2024, and eventually, we flew together to Texas on September 22, 2025. We were married on October 27, 2025, and are now living a happy life together here in Texas. Thank God for His wonderful gift to me. I am now 59, and he is 69.

When I joined an online dating site, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Hello, CF. I just want to say thank you because I met my special someone on your dating service.

I registered my account in April, and fortunately, my account was verified. Then I started searching.

But before everything, I already joined Christian Filipina in 2021. I met a guy, and we got engaged, but it didn’t work out. We broke up last year. And after one year, I decided to join again, hoping that I would meet a guy again—and hoping that this time, he is the one for me.

To make the story short, I met a guy one month after I created my account. We talked for a while. But because I was busy, it took 8 days before I replied to him again. I didn’t know he was waiting for my response. So when we talked in chat, he asked if he could call. And I said yes. And when we met on video, we immediately liked each other. He also told me that for him, it was love at first sight. After 2 days, we became boyfriend and girlfriend. Then he sent me flowers and chocolates, and he sent me a package too. He said it was a gift for my birthday.

Then, on the day of my birthday, which was in June, he decided to meet me in person. He booked the flight, the hotel, and the car. On July 3, we met in person, after 1 month of the talking stage. We really liked each other in person. He’s very kind, sweet, humble, soft-spoken, and also handsome.

At first, I didn’t like his height because he was too tall, but when we met, I appreciated his height, and so far, we’re happy. We pray every day so that God can be the center of our relationship.

For now, we are getting to know each other better—before entering into a big commitment and before we settle down, because we don’t want to make mistakes in our decisions.

I love him, and I know he loves me too, and I’m excited for him to come back to visit me in December.
