I met Mercy through Christian Filipina, and when I first came across her profile, I never imagined that a dating site would lead me to my wife and the family we have today. We started talking, and what began as simple conversations slowly turned into something much deeper.

Even though we came from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, we found a connection that made the distance feel less important. We spent hours talking and getting to know each other, our families, our faith, our dreams, and what we wanted our future to look like. The more I got to know Mercy, the more I realized she was the person I wanted in my life.

This month, we celebrate four years together and two years of marriage. We got married on September 21, 2024, and since then, we’ve continued building our life together here in the United States. We now have our son, Calvin, who is about to celebrate his first birthday, and we’re raising our family together alongside my older children.

Our marriage isn’t perfect, and we’ve had our share of challenges. We’ve had disagreements, stressful seasons, and moments where we had to learn to communicate and understand each other better. But those experiences are part of what makes a relationship real. We’re still learning, growing, and working on becoming better partners and parents every day.

One of the things I appreciate most about Mercy is how deeply she cares about our family. Watching her become a mother and seeing the love she has for our son has been one of the most meaningful parts of our journey.

Looking back, it’s still amazing to me that I met my wife through Christian Filipina. I never expected that someone I met online, from another country, would become the person I’d build a life with. We may not have a perfect love story, but we have a real one—and four years later, we’re still choosing each other every single day.

Sometimes, life has a beautiful way of bringing two people together when they least expect it. A little over a year ago, Tony and I were complete strangers, living thousands of miles apart. We met through the Christian Filipina Dating App, and what began as simple conversations slowly turned into something neither of us could have imagined—a deep connection, genuine love, and a relationship that has become such an important part of our lives. ❤️

After a year of talking, sharing our dreams, learning about each other, and being there for one another despite the distance, our greatest wish finally came true—we met in person. 🥰

This January, Tony traveled all the way from Houston, Texas, to Dubai, UAE, 🇦🇪 to spend time with me and celebrate my 50th birthday with my daughter and her family. Having him beside me after so many months of seeing each other only through a screen was an incredibly emotional and unforgettable moment.

There is something truly magical about finally holding the hand of the person you have spent so much time talking to, looking into their eyes, and realizing that the person you prayed and hoped for is finally standing right in front of you. ❤️

Our time together in Dubai gave us memories that we will treasure forever. More importantly, it confirmed what we had already felt in our hearts—that what we found in each other is real, genuine, and worth fighting for, no matter how many miles separate us.

What started with a message on a dating app has now blossomed into a beautiful relationship filled with love, trust, understanding, and hope for the future. We are officially together, and every day we continue to grow closer and more certain that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. ❤️

Tony is planning to return to the UAE in January 2027, and we are both looking forward to the next beautiful chapter of our love story. We are hoping that his next visit will bring an even more unforgettable moment—his proposal and the beginning of our journey toward marriage. 💍❤️

We are also now in the process of applying for my fiancée visa, which we hope will eventually allow me to join Tony in the United States 🇺🇸. The thought of leaving the life I have known here and starting a new chapter with the man I love is both exciting and emotional. It is a big step, but one I am willing to take because love sometimes asks us to be brave enough to follow our hearts.

Looking back, I am incredibly thankful that I decided to give love another chance. I am thankful for every conversation, every late-night message, every laugh, every moment of understanding, and even every challenge that brought us closer together.
